Refund and Returns Policy

1. General Policy

At NITIN FILMS, every project we take on — whether a pre-wedding shoot, brand film, or cinematic production — involves careful planning, coordination, and resource allocation.

Because of the personalized and creative nature of our work, all payments made to NITIN FILMS are treated as confirmation of service and are generally non-refundable, except as explicitly stated in this policy.

Our goal is to maintain transparency and fairness while protecting the time, effort, and creative investment of our team.

2. Booking Confirmation

  • A booking or order is considered confirmed only upon successful payment (either full or advance).
  • Once confirmed, our production team begins allocating dates, equipment, and resources — which incur non-recoverable costs.
  • Therefore, advance booking payments are non-refundable under normal circumstances.

3. Cancellation by Client

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your booking:

  • You must notify NITIN FILMS in writing via email at info@nitinfilms.in at least 10 days prior to the scheduled shoot date.
  • If informed in advance, we may offer to reschedule your shoot once, subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made less than 10 days before the shoot date will result in forfeiture of the full advance payment and no refund will be issued.
  • Rescheduling beyond one instance may require a new booking and payment.

4. Cancellation by NITIN FILMS

In rare circumstances where NITIN FILMS must cancel a booking (for example, due to extreme weather, equipment failure, or unavoidable operational reasons):

  • We will offer an alternate date for the shoot or service at no extra charge.
  • If rescheduling is not feasible, a full or proportionate refund (depending on project stage) may be processed.
  • Refunds, if approved, will be made to the original payment source within 7–10 working days.

5. Non-Refundable Items & Services

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Advance or booking fees.
  • Any part of the service that has already been initiated or completed.
  • Customized shoots, edited photos/videos, or digital deliverables.
  • Costs paid to third-party vendors (venues, decorators, makeup artists, etc.).
  • Travel and accommodation expenses incurred on behalf of the client.

6. Delay or Non-Appearance by Client

  • If the client or subject fails to appear at the scheduled location, the session will be marked as a Client No-Show, and no refund will be issued.
  • Rescheduling due to client delay or non-availability will be at NITIN FILMS’ discretion, depending on team availability and additional costs.
  • If the shoot is delayed due to client reasons beyond the allocated time slot, overtime charges may apply.

7. Revisions & Creative Output

All projects are delivered according to mutually discussed concepts and styles.
Refunds will not be provided for creative differences, subjective dissatisfaction, or stylistic preferences once work has been delivered as per the agreed scope.

Requests for additional revisions, re-edits, or deliverables beyond the agreed package may incur extra charges.

8. Refund Method & Processing Time

  • Refunds (if applicable) will only be processed to the original mode of payment (card, UPI, or bank account).
  • Processing timelines are typically 7–10 business days, depending on the client’s bank or payment network.
  • NITIN FILMS will not be responsible for delays caused by banking or network issues outside our control.

9. Force Majeure

In situations beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or emergencies), NITIN FILMS reserves the right to reschedule or postpone services.
In such events, refunds will not be issued, but the project will be rescheduled to a mutually suitable date.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute or claim relating to payments, cancellations, or refunds shall be governed by the laws of India.
The courts located in Mohali, Punjab shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all such matters.
